This year, the Town of Lancaster’s Annual Municipal Election is scheduled for June 29, 2020. In these unprecedented times, your vote is more important than ever to ensure the right direction for Lancaster.
My name is Francis Sullivan, and I am seeking the opportunity to serve the Town on the Planning Board. As a lifelong resident of Lancaster and second-generation business owner, I am deeply committed to the future of our Town and all of its residents.
My public service experience includes 12 years previously served on the Planning Board before taking time off to focus on the family business. I am also currently a member of the Board of Appeals for over 10 years now. I will draw upon this previous experience on the Planning Board as well as my time on the Board of Appeals to work together with fellow board members and make the right planning decisions for the future of Lancaster and its residents.
Taking over our family business that was established in Lancaster in 1974 to serve municipalities in regard to water supply has deeply engrained in me the importance of hard work. I have been an active participant in civic life, as well as the business community, and I possess the skills and experience to make tough decisions and collaborate to achieve progress for our Town.
As a former coach of Lancaster Little League, Nashoba Youth Football and Lancaster Youth soccer, as well as a former member of the Thayer Field committee, I enjoy being an active participant in community life and giving back.
Working together, I believe we can plan effectively for positive economic growth in our community and preserve quality of life for every member of the community, from senior citizens to families and young professionals.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic has created obstacles for the democratic process, as a resident of Lancaster, you still have the important opportunity to exercise your right to VOTE in the Municipal Election.
Your vote in this critical election is important. I humbly ask for your vote for Planning Board, and I thank you for your
